A Complex Engineering Puzzle
The core challenge was to design and install a powerful HVAC system to manage the significant heat load from high-intensity retail lighting and large numbers of customers, without any visible units or ducting. Furthermore, the fire safety system had to be comprehensive, covering vast retail floors and back-of-house areas, and required approval from Civil Defense for a high-traffic public assembly space, all within an aggressive store launch timeline.
Innovative & Efficient
We implemented a high-efficiency VRF system with concealed, low-noise fan coil units (FCUs) hidden within the ceiling, ensuring perfect integration with the interior design. For fire safety, we installed a fully addressable fire alarm system with beam detectors for high-ceiling areas and a complete sprinkler system with aesthetically pleasing concealed sprinkler heads. Meticulous coordination with the interior fit-out team was key to meeting the tight deadline.
