A Complex Engineering Puzzle
The key challenge was Islamabad's climate, which features both scorching summers and cold winters. The HVAC system needed to provide both effective cooling and heating efficiently, often on the same day during transitional seasons. The fire system had to meet the stringent safety standards of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Innovative & Efficient
We installed a four-pipe central plant system with both chillers and boilers, allowing for simultaneous heating and cooling across different zones of the mall as required. This provided ultimate flexibility and energy efficiency. The fire safety system included a complete wet-riser, sprinkler, and hydrant system, fully compliant with CDA regulations, ensuring a rapid response capability.
