A Complex Engineering Puzzle
The key challenge was providing consistent, effective climate control across a vast, two-level retail space with high ceilings, an open atrium, and intense lighting. The system needed to be powerful enough to handle extreme customer density during peak sales events. Furthermore, the fire safety system required comprehensive coverage for both the sprawling retail floors and the densely packed back-of-house stockrooms, a significant fire load.
Innovative & Efficient
We implemented a high-efficiency, multi-zoned Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system, providing the flexibility to direct cooling where it's needed most and scale back in quieter sections, optimizing energy use. For fire safety, we installed a fully addressable fire alarm system linked to smoke and beam detectors in high-ceiling areas. A complete wet-pipe automatic sprinkler system was deployed throughout all customer-facing and stock areas, ensuring full compliance and rapid response capabilities.
