A Complex Engineering Puzzle
The primary challenge was to route all necessary ductwork and plumbing lines (for a staff pantry and restroom) within the very limited ceiling and wall cavities of a modern retail unit. The entire installation had to be perfectly concealed to maintain the store's clean lines and minimalist design, requiring meticulous planning and coordination with the interior design team.
Innovative & Efficient
We utilized a slim-line, concealed ducted fan coil unit for the HVAC, which has a minimal vertical profile, allowing it to fit comfortably within the tight ceiling void. This was connected to discreet, linear slot diffusers. For plumbing, we designed a compact, sound-insulated piping network for the staff facilities, using PEX piping for its flexibility to navigate around structural elements. All work was precisely mapped using 3D drawings to ensure zero conflict with lighting, electrical, and security systems.
Key Project Outcomes
Successfully integrated all HVAC and plumbing services within a challenging, compact footprint.
Maintained the brand's minimalist aesthetic with a fully concealed and silent MEP installation.
Provided essential, fully functional staff facilities without compromising valuable retail floor space.
Completed the complex, coordinated fit-out on an accelerated schedule to meet the store's grand opening date.

“Every square inch of our stores is designed. There is no room for exposed pipes or bulky vents. Their team's ability to engineer and hide all the necessary services was crucial to the project's success. They delivered a functional and completely invisible solution.”
